Thirty year-old vineyards of Villa Quinta parcels, with one of the highest altitudes in the wine region of Valdeorras. Estimated production of 5.500 kilos per hectare. Harvested by hand in the second week of September using small boxes of 15 kilos.
After a meticulous selection of the bunches, the grapes enter the winery and macerate for three hours. Aging is done on fine lees (after separating the thick lees) during 6 months in stainless steel tank.
Straw yellow color, with greenish reflections. On the nose we find sweet aromas, mango, apricot and orange blossom. In the mouth it’s silky, unique, enveloping, tasty and structured. It will improve in the bottle in the coming years.
